We’ve got some great news for all you coffee connoisseurs out there!
When the Banjo Cold Brew Coffee team reached out to Chef Christophe to share some samples of their delicious product, he fell in love. This coffee-obsessed and sustainability-minded company has officially stocked our coolers with their delicious all natural cold brew coffee. Christophe’s To Go is always on the lookout for high quality foods and products to share with customers, and this local company has exactly what we’ve been missing for our coffee lovers. Both companies are committed to sustainability, embrace the same mission to be responsible with their passions, and support local businesses.
A notable reason Chef Christophe is excited to have this product in stores is because he drinks his coffee cold. “I always pour myself a cup of hot coffee and then start to cook,” says Christophe, “so by the time I’m ready to drink my coffee it’s always cold!” He also adds “I like my coffee black, unsweetened and cold, because I’m too busy to sit down. It’s so nice to enjoy coffee that is actually brewed cold and made to drink chilled.” Sounds like a match made in heaven for us!
About Banjo Cold Brew Coffee
Banjo Cold Brew Coffee is a local Atlanta Company that shares their passion for cold pressed coffee to the world. This dynamic team consists of husband and wife Billy and Chasidy Atchison, and longtime friend, Sebastian Kegel. The passion Billy and Chasidy have for cold pressed coffee developed throughout several years of traveling around the states. While exploring cities with craft coffee, it wasn’t until Chasidy and Billy experienced the Pacific Northwest that they were introduced to cold pressed coffee. This new found love of cold brew coffee sparked a mission for them to bring this sensation back to their new home in Atlanta. Chasidy’s extensive experience in marketing combined with Billy’s creativity sparked the start of Banjo Cold Brew Coffee, but it wasn’t until Billy re-connected with his old pal (and past roommate), Sebastian, that their dream came to fruition. The name “Banjo Cold Brew Coffee” represents Chasidy and Billy’s hometown roots of sweet-home Alabama.
Their hand-crafted coffee is a product that developed over time, with much experimenting in the art of slow brewing. Their unique hand-crafted process of cold brew involves steeping their specialty-grade beans in cold filtered water for nearly 24 hours, creating a less acidic coffee that’s packed with more flavor, and more caffeine than traditional auto-drip coffee. The results of their hard work created two brews, Pitch Black (formally original) and Sweetly Tuned. Both are made with their specialty medium-bodied beans and both are all natural with nothing artificial. Their coffee is stored in bottles that are very similar to a craft beer growler you purchase at your local beer growler store. The bottles are 100% recyclable, allowing you to return your empty bottle to Banjo Cold Brew Coffee for them to clean and reuse. Banjo Cold Brew Coffee is also a proud member of 1% for the Planet, a movement of companies that donate at least 1% of their annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide.
