Today we announce that Christophe and his management team have made the very difficult decision to close all the Christophe’s To Go stores as of today. All stores will be permanently closed on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. We ran into many challenges, but at the end of the day our biggest challenge was that we could not maintain enough sales to make the model viable.
Stores Are Closing, But Christophe’s To Go Lives On
Although the stores are closing, Christophe’s To Go is not closing entirely. We have seen the potential of Christophe’s model and we believe we can make it work in a different way.
1. Home Delivery starts next month
Our web programmers are working hard to revamp our website to allow for home delivery. We will deliver to much of North Atlanta twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Order online and we will deliver your food to your door the next day. The food will be in a reusable cooler with ice packs. This model will make it even more convenient for our customers and it will ensure even greater freshness as the food will always be prepared to order. We will send an update to our mailing list the minute we are ready to receive the orders.
2. Catering will continue!
Christophe’s catering business will continue unabated. If you want to order catering simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to send you a proposal. We cater small lunches for 10 people all the way up to 8 course meals for 1,000 people. You can view Christophe’s catering menu here. Remember that the menu is just a sample of what Christophe can do. If you want it, Christophe can make it.
Christophe is exploring wholesale production of select items for grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, and other food service companies. Don’t be surprised if you see Christophe’s brand of soups, sauces, stocks, and other items in your local grocery store!
We want to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who came to our stores and enjoyed Christophe’s food. We think our online reviews demonstrate that Christophe’s commitment to quality shines through.
Also we have to acknowledge our staff, many of whom will, unfortunately, be out of work as a result of our changes. We truly value their work and commitment and wish them nothing but the best in their careers.

A Note About Rewards Points & Gift Cards
We need to figure out how to move all existing points and gift card balances to our new platform. Gift Cards and Rewards Points will not be lost, but they won’t be redeemable on day one when we move to our new platform. We will fully to honor all points and cards through the new delivery model!
