While we are big believers in enjoying healthy food delivery from the comfort of your home, we think these five Atlanta foodie events are worth changing out of your sweatpants for.

Athens Wine Weekend
When: February 3-5
Where: Athens, GA
Just outside of Atlanta, Athens is home to some of the south’s most delectable dives. Even if you aren’t a Georgia Bulldog fan, treat yourself with a weekend trip to the Classic City for Athens Wine Weekend. The event kicks off Friday, February 3 at The Classic Center Atrium where you’ll enjoy in-house chef presentations and tastings of Amuse-Bouche, paired with the perfect wine to arouse your palate. Saturday features a Grand Tasting with hundreds of wines to sample and plenty of seminars to hone your tasting skills. Sunday wraps up with a Gourmet Dinner, the most anticipated event of the weekend. If you’re serious about your sommelier skills, this is a must-attend.
Atlanta Winter Beer Fest
When: February 4 from 1:00pm-6:00pm
Where: Atlantic Station
The much-anticipated, annual event is back. After six years of hosting at the Masquerade, the party’s moving to the Atlantic Station event space. Atlanta Winter Beer Fest features over 150 beers from Atlanta and Georgia breweries, live music, and food trucks. Committed to providing a superior beer fest experience, this event has sold out six years in a row. We suggest snagging your tickets early. Look at all the breweries who attended last year: Eventide, Monday Night, Orpheus, Monk’s Mead, Red Brick, Red Hare, SweetWater, Terrapin, Reformation… and more!
Blues, Beer & BBQ
When: February 24 from 6:30pm-9:30pm
Where:Monday Night Brewing
The fifth annual Winter Blues Fundraiser is back, bringing the best of Memphis to the heart of Atlanta. Enjoy unlimited BBQ from some of Atlanta’s best joints and all the Monday Night Brewing beer your heart desires. Rock out to YOUNG Elvis and The Blue Suedes Rockabilly Tribute Show. The best part? This event supports the Manna Fund, providing financial assistance for eating disorder treatment costs.
Bellina Alimentari Truffle Dinner
When: February 24 at 7:30pm
Where: Ponce City Market
Did you know that truffles peak in taste between December and March? Ponce City Market’s Bellina Alimentari wants to celebrate with you with a very special truffle-filled dinner. This four course meal will feature authentic Italian pasta dishes with black and white truffles. Don’t let the romance end on Valentine’s Day. Mardis Gras in Alpharetta
When: February 28 from 5:00pm-9:00pm
Where: Avalon Boulevard
In celebration of Fat Tuesday, Avalon is hosting its third annual Mardi Gras stroll. You’ll enjoy New Orlean’s-themed food/drinks while strolling down Avalon Boulevard. Participating retailers and restaurants have yet to be announced, so keep an eye out for more information. Don’t forget to rock your purple, green and gold for this Big Easy bash.
